Morocco is set to legalise cannabis for medical use. The Moroccan government has ratified draft legislation that would allow the medical use of cannabis. However, the legislation still has to pass through the Moroccan parliament.

The FSA have reiterated that CBD suppliers and brands must submit their novel food applications before 31 of March 2021 to ensure that their products comply with the new novel food regulations. The entities with validated applications will be allowed to continue selling their CBD products in the UK.

Curaleaf Holdings announced on Tuesday the 9^th of March that a definitive $286 million agreement had been signed to acquire Emmac Life Sciences, a UK based Medical Cannabis company. The deal will provide Curaleaf with a major foothold in the European Cannabis market.
