T21 Medical Cannabis Access with Drug Science
Drug Science was initially formed by a committee of scientists, headed by Professor David Nutt in 2010 with the belief that the pursuit of knowledge should remain free of all political and commercial interest.
They started “T21” (previously known as Project 21), which helps patients gain access to medical cannabis at a discounted price, while collecting data to build real-world evidence of Cannabis Based Products for Medicinal Use.
Drug Science then use this data to provide evidence for NHS funding of medical cannabis treatment.
Patients are asked to fill out a questionnaire once every 3 months and will receive a minimum of 5% off the price of their product.
Drug Science are completely independent and observational, meaning there is no bias when it comes to selecting a clinic or prescription.

PLEA is a volunteer-led non-profit community interest company that was set up to challenge the inequalities in access to Cannabis Based Products for Medicinal Use in the UK.
They work to ensure that lived experience is valued and patient voices are heard and the forefront of the development of the medical cannabis industry. All their work is dictated by their Patient Working Group.
